Troop 482 Hits the Trail!

Over the weekend of October 3-5 members of Troop 482 hit the trail at Oil Creek State Park with all the comforts of home on their backs! This event was a new experience for the troop. Leaving behind the convenience of the troop trailer and hitting the trail for a two night excursion in the woods. The photos by Doc Stu attest to a good time had by all.

Troop 482 - Group One - Rappelling Trip!

The first group from Troop 482 to participated in a rappelling outing to McConnell's Mill State Park on Saturday, August 16, 2014. Additional groups will be rappelling at this location in the near future.

Ryan Deemer Eagle Ceremony!

Troop 482 proudly claims Ryan Deemer as it's newest Eagle Scout!

Ryan was officially recognized and honored at a ceremony held Tuesday evening August 12, 2014 at Connoquenessing Community Park. Leaders and fellow scouts gathered to honor Ryan as he received his Eagle Scout Badge and official award recognitions. A time of conversation and fellowship was held afterward with cake and lemonade.

Pack & Troop 482 Arrow of Light Weekend!

Troop 482 Welcomed three new scouts as the three graduated from Webelos II to Boy Scouts this past Saturday evening with the 2014 version of the traditional Arrow of Light Ceremony. Three Webelos II from the Evans City Pack which were inducted into Troop 482 last month were also recognized. WELCOME NEW SCOUTS!

In spite of the rainy weather, it was a memorable experience! Thanks to all who participated and made this weekend possible.

Moraine Bike Trail Outing!

Members of Troop 482 Participated in a weekend camping and biking trip at the 5 Points Campsite location on the North Shore of Moraine State Park this past weekend of 4/11/14!

A great time was had by our boys and leaders while camping and working their way toward completion of goals toward Cycling and Camping Merit Badges!
