Over the weekend of October 3-5 members of Troop 482 hit the trail at Oil Creek State Park with all the comforts of home on their backs! This event was a new experience for the troop. Leaving behind the convenience of the troop trailer and hitting the trail for a two night excursion in the woods. The photos by Doc Stu attest to a good time had by all.
Have great day!, Mr. T
“Who hath smelt wood smoke at
twilight?
Who hath heard the birch log
burning?
Who is quick to read the noises of
the night?
Let him follow with the others, for
the Young Men’s feet are turning
To the camps of proved desire and
known delight!”
Rudyard Kipling
