Ethan Turner's Interpretive Tree Identification Plaques were installed on Saturday, December 28 at Preston Park in Butler Township.
Final steps in the process included drilling mounting holes in, and spray painting the re-purposed speed limit sign aluminum panels provided by Butler Township.
The weather cooperated and Ethan's team of 4 installers spent 10 man hours during the actual install at the park on Saturday.
The result is nine interpretive panels that not only make finding the State Champion Trees easier, but also provide park visitors with detailed information on each tree. The plaques are made of weather resistant High Pressure Laminate that should serve the park for years to come!
