Boy Scout Troop 482 Completes 2012 Week of Resident Camp!

Another successful week of Resident Camp is behind us, although most of us wish it could go on!

Our troop spent the week of July 15-21 at Beautiful Camp Bucoco!

I spoke with each of the boys while I was in camp each day, and they all told me they were having a great time, from the youngest new Scouts to the oldest Life Scouts. Having a great time enjoying the freedom and independence of camp while working their way toward their own chosen goals. That's what a great week at camp is all about!

Three of our Life Scouts also participated in the High Adventure Program and enjoyed that experience immensely!

Here are few select photos with a link to many more below.

Troop 482 Enjoys Hike at Jennings Environmental Center

Troop 482 Enjoyed a Hike at Jennings Environmental Center on Saturday March 31st. Four Boy Scouts from Troop 482 hosted 4 Webelos II Scouts from Pack 482 on a 3 mile hike today. This was not only a nice hike, but also served to fulfill the requirement for the WEII boys of participating in an outing with the troop.
We had lunch trail side and a good time was had by all. Thanks to our SPL for mapping and leading the hike today! Troop 482 looks forward to welcoming these new boys into the troop this spring!
